Empowering Lives Through Essential Care and Education
Breaking the Barriers to Menstrual Health
Period poverty is a significant and often overlooked issue that affects many individuals, particularly within the black and brown communities. This critical challenge arises from the lack of access to menstrual products and proper menstrual hygiene education, leading to serious consequences for physical, emotional, and social well-being.
At Selfe Foundation, we are dedicated to addressing period poverty and its far-reaching impacts. Our Pantry For Periods initiative aims to provide essential menstrual products and hygiene education to girls in schools who need them the most. By partnering with schools, communities, and organizations, we work to eliminate the barriers that prevent young girls from managing their periods with dignity and confidence.
Vision
In our vision, every individual experiences empowerment through access to indispensable personal care products and education, nurturing the development of confident future pioneers.
